Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn’t. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man. When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever. Worship, therefore, is the fuel and goal in missions.
John Piper, Let the Nations Be Glad
Lake Osborne has enjoyed a long history of supporting men and women on the mission field. Because of our love for the gospel we see it as both our duty and privilege to send out missionaries, both globally and locally, in a manner worthy of God (3 John 6). We believe that the gospel is the only thing that can transform our world. Our desire is to see men and women, boys and girls come to know, love, and serve our God. We accomplish this in conjunction with our international mission agency, Mission to the World, our national mission agency, Mission to North America, plus various other organizations, such as Reformed University Fellowship and RENEW South Florida.
